Ventilation system - A380 avionics bay
Technofan has developed the complete avionics ventilation system on new generation long range aircraft, providing forced air ventilation to the electronics, electric rack and cockpit panels. The blowing system consists of two segregated circuits both including a blower fan, an air filter, a cooling effect detector and a back-up valve. The extraction system, including an extract fan, is designed to evacuate the avionics heat dissipation two different ways: during flight operations through an inboard valve and during ground operations through an overboard valve.
The avionics ventilation controller is connected with each ventilation equipment for control, monitoring and build-in-test capability.

Technofan has developed the complete ventilation system for a new generation of military transport helicopters. The air is directly pulled in from outside by two main avionics fans through a high efficiency air filter and provides air cooling to the main avionics bay.
